Memberships fees are $45 (per family), and must be paid by Sunday 11th April 2010. This includes entry to the presentation night.

Please print out, and fill in the membership and waiver forms, and bring them with you along with your payment, and birth certificate for all junior riders, to the next gymkhana.

1. Age is determined by the age you are on the first day of competition for the year or the 2nd Sunday in February, which ever comes first.

2. All Junior members will be required to provide a birth certificate as proof of age when registering each year.

3. The Lead-in age group is for young children who need assistance and must be led at all times. They do not qualify for points and are unable to compete in the afternoon Open events. Lead-ins will be unable to compete in any other events that are deemed unsuitable for them at the discretion of the Committee.

4. A Novice Adult rider is determined by the skill of the rider, not the skill of the horse.

5. The Committee reserves the right to upgrade or downgrade a rider between Lead-ins and a Junior age group or between Novice Adult and Adult. The decision to do so will be based on the Committee’s observation of the rider’s ability.

6. In the case of any rider being moved from Novice Adult to Adult, any points they may have earned in Novice Adult events cannot be taken with them up to the Adult standings. Points for Novice Adult events affected in these instances will be recalculated and awarded to the revised Novice Adult place-getters.

7. The Committee reserves the right to withdraw any rider from competition if they feel their riding skills are not adequate enough to ensure their safety and the safety of others.

8. Novice Adults qualify for points from the eight morning events in their own division. Should a Novice Adult wish to compete in the afternoon Open events, then they compete with the Adults.

1. All registration fees must be paid by 9.00 am.

2. All riders must be in the marshalling area before 9.30 am.

3. One horse per full registration unless extra horses are nominated as “non competitive” prior to the commencement of the Gymkhana. Non competitive horses are not eligible for points.

4. Each registered “competitive” horse accumulates points during the year, not the rider, therefore if the rider changes horse during the year the accumulation of points will begin again.

5. Riders are able to use 2 or more horses competitively, however full registration is required for each horse at the applicable rate, no discounts will be given, and each horse will have it’s own accumulation of points. Alternatively a rider may use one competitive horse in Competition 1 and a different competitive horse in Competition 2.
